The course runs from 9:00 – 16:00.

This course equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace emergencies, with added focus on incidents more likely to occur in forestry and rural environments.

Throughout the day, candidates will learn how to deal with:

In addition, the course covers CPR and safe casualty management in remote or outdoor settings, ensuring learners are prepared for delayed emergency response times.

Course Certification

Upon successful completion, learners will receive an industry-recognised certificate accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

Who Is This Course For?

This course is ideal for those working in forestry, agriculture, land-based roles, or any outdoor environment where additional first aid considerations are required.

A first aid risk assessment may determine that this EFAW + F qualification is sufficient. However, some workplaces may still require the full First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification depending on risk levels.

Assessment

Candidates are assessed continuously throughout the day by the instructor to ensure all learning outcomes are met.

Successful learners will be awarded the FAIB-accredited EFAW + F qualification.
